INDIVIDUAL HEADSHOT AND PERSONAL BRANDING  SESSIONS

Studio headshot and portrait sessions are designed for individuals seeking a solid headshot of themselves or a wider range of imagery thorough portrait session. Individual sessions last approximately an hour in length. Personal Branding sessions are about 2-2.5 hours. We generally shoot a variety of looks for our clients during the course of one session. Shooting a range of looks over the course of the session allows us to get a variety of shots for your use allowing you to mix up the shots for whatever marketing purposes you need them for.

Headshot session fee  $400

                 session fee includes:

                 style and wardrobe consultation, 

                 unlimited outfit changes, 

                 guided photoshoot,

                 3-5  images,

                 licensing of the image for personal use as well as professional retouching

Additional retouched images are $75 each. 

Your final images are chosen at the end of the session. This pricing formula puts you in control of the total cost of your session depending on how many images you want to purchase.

GROUP HEADSHOT SESSIONS

These sessions are designed for a larger group of people that need a consistent look and feel to their images. We offer several options when it comes to scheduling, such as coming into the studio as a group, one on one basis, or having us travel to your location of business. Please contact us for a group quote.

WHAT TO EXPECT

We will schedule a consultation with you to understand what profession you are in and what type of headshot you need ; a very traditional one, or more contemporary one that will let your personality show. We will spend about an hour with you shooting in a variety of outfits that you will bring with you. We want to achieve a range of looks for maximum variety. The final shots will be made available on your own password protected proofing website. 

DELIVERY

Final retouched Images are delivered via digital download. Unless otherwise noted, the final deliverable is 2048 pixel (72dpi) JPG file with included promotional usage copyright licensing. If you need another file size or file format, let us  know.

We will professionally retouch final images you select from your headshot session. We don't release high resolution raw images directly to our clients unless you elect to purchase a full buyout of your entire session for additional $300.

WHAT TO WEAR

Feel free to bring a range of different options for clothing. The rule of thumb is: If you don’t feel comfortable in it, you won’t shoot well while wearing it. Bring a range of different colors and necklines - once you schedule your shoot, we will send you a comprehensive clothing guide. If you have any doubt about whether something will work or not just bring it and we will decide on the spot, anything from t-shirts, tank tops to sweaters and light jackets can work. Try to keep it minimal on the jewelry for your headshot session. Accessorize for personal branding session - we can discuss it in more details later, just ask!  

As a rule of thumb: anything hanging or chunky will usually draw too much attention in a headshot. Have some fun with this, if you feel your wardrobe is missing something then go shopping. We have a steamer in the studio, so we'll be able to easily sort out any wrinkling for you. Fitted clothes photograph better than loose styles on any body size.

HAIR AND MAKEUP

Women

Makeup for the session is  recommended for all women, but not absolutely necessary.  The cost is $150 for makeup for the session and includes hair help. The makeup is applied specifically for the lighting we use and we usually start very naturally to give you a very clean simple look. We do touch ups and will add subtle changes to the makeup as the shoot progresses. If you’d like to start off a little heavier on the makeup we are happy to do that as well, just let us know.

Hair: We ask that everyone come in with their hair ready the way you would like to present yourself. We want your hair in your pictures to be as close as possible to the way you look on a fantastic hair day. Of course our makeup artist is there to make sure it’s shoot ready and we will discuss what you’d like to do with it.

Make sure you discuss this with us any major hair/make up requests prior to your session, so we are all on the same page.

Men

We don't recommend makeup on men. All our work is retouched afterwards, so any blemishes will be taken care of during that process. Facial Hair: If you’d like to shoot with facial hair we’d be happy for you to come in with whatever level of growth you’d like.
